Thu 28th: scrubbed

This was my second flying day in a row because Paul was Launch Marshal. Club class was briefed for four area Assigned Area Task:

and we all headed out to the grid. Conditions looked poor and unlikely to improve, so we were rebriefed on the grid for a 118 km triangle. After a further wait for the day to warm up Sport class was launched. However, it soon became apparent that they were having problems staying airborne before the start, so the task for both classes was scrubbed while the last Sport class glider was still on tow.

The bar opened early, so the evening turned out to be rather convivial.
